I also like 'aap aaye to khayal-e-dil-e nashaad aaya' and 'ram kare aisa ho jaaye'.
Thanks for mentioning these and sharing your other favourite Sunil Dutt songs.
Thanks for the visit and the appreciation. Cheers and Regards :))

Namita Sachan

Good to know that you enjoyed the bouquet songs. Thanks for mentioning your favourites.
I hope to continue posting music/songs/videos. I am finding it difficult though, due to some technical issues in this blogspace in particular or with SULS site in general :((
Cheers and Regards.

V S Gopal

Yes, SD had "terrific charm".  It is great to know that he was people-friendly. Thanks a ton for sharing the beautiful memory of your meeting with Sunil Dutt twenty years back. Thanks for  the appreciation. Cheers and Regards.

Dear Dr Kamath

Thanks for mentioning your fav songs from the bouquet. All the four songs are amazing. While posting 'Radhike Tune Bansari Churayi' I remembered you. I recalled your comment on the song when I had posted it in anothe bouquet (dedicated to you).

I have not been able to reply comments regularly. When I log in and try to do so, most of the times the comments don't go or get messed up. I am having a tough time posting blogs, comments in my blogspace and others' too.  Better late than never :))

I have been remembering you since yesterday. Reason... many news channels have been showing 'special' reports on Sai Baba. When they mentioned about the proposed airport in Shirdi, I thought it would be easier for devotees like you to reach Shirdi conveniently and quickly :))  Maharashtra govt has approved a package of 350 crore for developing Shirdi.
Isn't this good news??  Cheers and Regards.

Kolmet

Thanks for the appreciation. This is sure an encouragement for MU.
I am glad that you liked the bouquet of songs. Cheers and Regards.

Yash Chhabra

I had posted link of the song/video 'Sawan Ka Mahina'. I couldn't post it as embedding code was disabled on YouTube by the film producer. Thanks for the appreciation. Cheers and Regards.

Captain Nemo

Long time no see. Thanks for posting video links of some more Sunil Dutt hits. I appreciate your effort. Who else could do it :))

I had tried to post mostly solo song, and those sung by him onscreen (except for three songs). The idea was to focus on the actor - totally. As it is I like his looks ;))

I had posted 'Aaje aaja re tujh ko mera pyar pukare' under a diff title -- 'in hawaon mein in fizaon mein'  So... you didn't click all the videos   (I know it is impossilble, esp for busy ppl like you...who are rarely seen on SULS).

Yes, I missed 'Itna Na Mujhse Tu Pyaar Badha' ... Thanks a lot for adding that.

You enriched the bouquet  by adding other popular hits of SD. I think I should post these in another blog. What say?? Cheers and Regards.

Its Sara

Keep 'fighting' and one fine day... you would win :)) I am sure VSG and Sablu would sing a song or two on your demand. Thanks again.

Ehsaas

Gems indeed!! I am glad that you liked the songs. Cheers and Regards.

Kalyanee

Now that I am so late in replying the comments posted here, I presume you would have listened to all the songs. If you haven't ... you are most welcome to do so. I also loved Sunil Dutt's look, especially in the b/w oldies. He used to look sober and sweet. I guess it also has to do with the characters that he portrayed onscreen. What say?

Geoege Clooney is just ....wow... I like him a lot. Who is the 'one' you remembered??

Cheers and Regards.

Nargis Natarajan

'Chalo Ek Baar Phir Se' is on the most favourite list of many bloggers. As you said, the music is "heavenly", the lyrics "fantastic' and the rendition so beautiful... it is indeed a great song.

I am glad that the bouquet had at least one song of your choice :))  You may like the movie as well. I know you don't have time to indulge in such activities ;)) Cheers and Regards.

Gold 21

Do you relate to that dialogue of Bhola's in Padosan ??   Though his  name was Bhola and he looked 'bhola bhala' you would find his dialogues witty and sharp.   Padosan is an amazing comedy. I love all the songs too.

You were being missed. Stay around. Cheers :))

Sue Menon

It is nice of you to have said that. I am thrilled to know that you liked the bouquet and that the songs made your day. I realize that I am late in replying the comment... but I wish that whenever I post some music, you make the same statement...selfish that I am ;)) Cheers and Regards.

I am glad that you too like Sunil Dutt's songs. Yes, songs of Padosan and Humraaz are cool. 'Jalte hain jiske liye' is awesome. Thanks and Regards.

I hope you enjoyed the birthday bouquet songs. Thanks and Regards.

Sablu

Thanks for mentioning your favourite Sunil Dutt songs. I this Dharmendra and Sunil Dutt looked cool especially in b/w movies. They have super hit songs and movies to their credit. I also like Guru Dutt and Sanjeev Kumar. I am glad that you liked the songs posted here. Cheers and Regards.

Epananth

That song is my fav too. Good to know that the song took you down the memory lane. Same here :)) Cheers and Regards.

Dear my utterances,

Beautiful blog on Sunil Dutt. Ye Sunil Dutt Saab Ke Gaane Sun Kar Main To Kahin Kho Gaya!. Aap Ne To Mere College Ke Zamane Ki Yaad Dilaa Di.

I liked 4 songs "Kehna Hai", "Teri Ankho Ke Siwa", "Chalo Ek Baar Phir Se" and
and of course what else "RADHIKE TOONE BANSURI CHOORAYI" with that mystical flute in the hands of Sunil Dutt in one of the "Antaras". And you know I love that mystical flute.

I think you are currently out of town on Vacation.

I am sure when you return you will respond to all these comments one by one. A Daunting Task Indeed! But I am sure you will do it slowly after you return.

CHEERS!
Dr. Kamath

 Hello M U ,

Wonderful post, painstakingly and dedicatingly brought out. Comparisons are odious but Sunil Duttji was perhaps amongst the most sober and people-friendly of the old-timers. He had terrific charm. I met him only once. A common friend spotted him and took me to chat with him. We chatted standing for perhaps 20 mins. I was mute by and large, and was mostly listening. Duttji spoke so expressively and enthusiastically, and he seemed to tower over me even though I am close to 5' 10''. This was in a NY hotel lobby 20 years back.
cheers
vs gopal
