Song: Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye
Film: Jurm (1990)
Singers: Kumar Sanu & Sadhana Sargam
Lyricist: Indeevar
Music Director: Rajesh Roshan
Lyrics:
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye jab koi mushkil pad jaaye
Tum dena saath mera o humnawa
Na koi hai na koi tha zindage mein tumhaare siva
Tum dena saath mera o humnawa
Ho chaandni jab tak raat deta hai har koi saath
Tum magar andheron mein na chhodna mera haath
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye...
Wafadaari ki vo rasmein nibhayenge hum tum kasmein
Ek bhi saans zindagi ki jab tak ho apne bas mein
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye...
Dil ko mere hua yakeen hum pehle bhi mile kahin
Silsila ye sadiyon ka koi aaj ki baat nahin
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye....
Jab koi baat bigad jaaye jab koi mushkil pad jaaye
Tum dena saath mera o humnawa
Na koi hai na koi tha zindage mein tumhaare siva
Tum dena saath mera o humnawa

[P.S. This is a popular love song from the 90s. I remember listening to this song on Fm Rainbow. It was a hot favourite with couples who wished to dedicate on air, a Hindi film song for their beloved, lover, husband or wife.
Listening to it over and over again, I started liking this song. LOL.
I guess this is the first Kumar Sanu song I am posting in my blog.
Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan were leading male singers of the 90s and
were considered professional rivals.
There used to be a stiff competition between the two for 'best playback singer' awards.
Most of the times, Udit Narayan lost to Kumar Sanu.
I was a Udit fan and I never liked Kumar Sanu walking away with the awards.
Kumar Sanu has also song some very popular songs of the 90s and
his songs topped the charts. Yet, I always had my preference for Udit's songs.
I intend to post bouquets of Kumar Sanu's and Udit's hits.
Enjoy the music!! ]

MU,

The lyrics are meaningful...Sanu was a successful singer...winning 5 Filmfare awards in a row is no small task....
....Inasmuch I don't quite fancy his Reshammiyaesque nasal twang....I love this song sung by him...
...tere dar par sanam chale aaye...tu na aaya toh hum....
You can dedicate this one for me....if it's in the bouquet

Same here. Everyone I knew that time (when the song was on air) was loving this song. They had reasons to do so.... lol I like the lyrics and the music. I also never liked Kumar Sanu's voice much. But it is a fact that he was a leading playback singer of his times and has a row of hits to his credit. I like some songs sung by him. Should dedicate the Kumar Sanu bouquet to you.... lol Cheers

yeah, dis is a nice song, flashy picturization. I associate dis song wid a really funny (well, not funny for that person) memory though - a setup with disastrous results.
