I used to dislike ghazals b4 but my music Guru specialized in ghazals n Urdu .....
these days I have started liking them.....i need to send her a letter and let her know so she wud be happy. Ur blog suddenly reminded me of dis...thnks.

Hey MU : I am not a big Panjak Udhas fan but this one is one of his great, his selection of sharab ghazals were good but I think at one point he went overboard..........my view anyway

Its good to know that you used to sing this ghazal during your college days. I'm sure you would have enjoyed the audio in Pankaj Udhas's voice. I couldn't identify 'dard ki barish sahi' and 'sabko maloom hai....' probably because I had not followed up his singing journey. I just liked some ghazals released in the early late 80s and some film songs. Thanks and Regards.
