Nazar mujhse milati ho to tum sharma si jaati ho

Isi ko pyar kehte hain, isi ko pyar kehte hain

Zaban khamosh hai lekin nigahein baat karti hain

Adayein lakh bhi ho to adayein baat karti hain

Nazar neechi kiye danton mein ungli ko dabati ho

Chupane se meri jaanam kahin kya pyar chhupta hai

[P.S. I would have loved to write something about my favourite ghazal singers -- Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Ustad Mohammad Hussain but I'm too tired to do that now. I love their voice and have heard them live a few times. I wouldn't easily miss their concert in Delhi. Enjoy the music. I like the the lyrics too. Great stuff. I am posting this one for a virtual friend who believes that an ideal beloved should blush and all... exhibit what he calls "nazaqat" and "ada".

I wish he gets one asap. (I wonder who would fit the bill.)

Kahin to milegi, kabhi to milegi, aaj nahi to kal...

Good to know that you like the voice of Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Mohd Hussain. As you profile (created today) suggests that you are located in New Delhi at present, I presume you would have attended some Hussain Brothers concerts held there. Cheers and Regards.

MU ko yakeen tha is baar baat aapki samajh mein aa hi jaayegi. Nahi aati to MU ke paas aur bhi tarike hain baat samjhane ke... sirf ishaare ya batein nahi....

Probably when you heard them, they wouldn't have achieved fame. Their concerts are always packed to full. They are famous amongst ghazal lovers whose ghazal love is not limited to Jagjit Singh.

BTW Gold Ma'am has not visited and shared her views here.

You should browse old blogs of MU to know that she had always been posting great love songs.

Hi MU…Sical…

Many year back…I think at the my student time, I got a chance to listen Hussain brothers in a concert of All India Radio…also beginning time of Hussain brothers too..After long gap now listening their voice again..thanx for that…great voice they have but not fame too much…Why ? I cant say may be bad luck of them. Very natural voice …!

Am agree with Goldie…Aaj kal kuch Pyaar mohabbat ki Gazalain aur song jyaada post ho rahe hain …kya baat hai…?

Keyaa1/Nupur

Hussain Brothers are one of the finest ghazal singers and are my favourite. I like their albums 'guldasta' and 'rehnuma' the most. Thanks and Regards.

Aap aati rahengi to 'ada' aur 'nazaqat' pasand karne wale bhi tashreef laate rahenge...

Here's this line from a thumri (film Sardari Begum) especially for you:

Raah mein bichhi hain palkein aao

Phool mehke rang chhalke aao

aap ka ishara kis taraf hain ji??? kahin aap apne ada wali baaton mein yeh to nahin keh rahi hain ki hum aapke 'aangan' mein na aaye.....
